Jubilee Exhibition
Saturday 19th May to Saturday 9th June
Todmorden Library
Friends of Todmorden Library are organising an exhibition for the Queen's Jubilee to be held at Todmorden Library.
The exhibition will run from Saturday 19th May to Saturday 9th June.
The exhibition is about your memories of the Royal Family over the last sixty years. Royalist or Republican we would like you to contribute.
This is an event for the whole community and there are a variety of ways you can get involved:
- Do you have any memorabilia you wouuld be prepared to loan? Tea towels, mugs, photographs and anything else you think is relevant. We do have locking cabinets if you have something particularly precious you are willing to loan.
- We are putting together a book of thoughts/memories from the people of Todmorden. If you have any stories to tell, memories to recount - within a strict limit of 150 words, we would be delighted to hear from you.
- Talking Heads - would you be willing to talk to camera about your memories? We are going to have them showing on a continuous loop on a screen in the library as part of the exhibition.
Please get involved - between us we can create an amazing event!
